Prof. Dr. Dmitry Ivanov outlined three levels of resilient systems that can be achieved using digital twins. The most advanced ones, called Intelligent Digital Twins, can predict problems and fix them ahead of time with the help of AI.

This technology is crucial for supply chains facing constant changes and unexpected events like the COVID-19 pandemic. It enables complete control in any situation and sets the foundation for future advances in AI and real-time decision-making.
