anyLogistix 2.10 and 2.10.1

The 2.10 and 2.10.1 releases of anyLogistix introduce new features, example models, and an upgraded CPLEX optimizer. They bring the latest from the development team and reflect market demands. Overall, they extend anyLogistix’s functionality and ease-of-use, to help you with supply chain design, experimentation, and analysis. Read on and find out what’s new in anyLogistix.

Initial States for Simulation Scenarios

Setting the initial state for a simulation scenario enables the creation of a supply chain digital twin. This is a virtual copy of your supply chain at a specific time, a snapshot, that can be used as a starting point for simulation experiments. Details such as goods in production or in transit are considered as well as stock levels. These experiments can help answer what-if questions and provide management with decision support.

Support for Import Taxes and Tariffs

anyLogistix software now allows you to account for import duties, taxes, and tariffs. You can more easily understand their effects on your supply chain, test scenarios, make plans and prepare contingencies. With import tax support, anyLogistix further helps you stay ahead in a fast-changing world.

Updated Supply Chain Examples

The example scenarios in anyLogistix help you to become familiar with different aspects of the software. They have been updated and added to. Not all examples are available in anyLogistix PLE.

With the Improving a Beer Distribution Network example you can learn about Brownfield Analysis (BFA). The task is to find optimal locations for new distribution centers to extend an existing supply chain. To try it, find GFA Improving Beer Distribution Network (BFA) in the GFA examples.

For zero waste factories or factories with by-products, an example demonstrates Network Optimization (NO). The scenario features a company that wishes to merge the supply chains of two factories it acquired. In the example scenario, you determine optimal locations for several distribution centers. The example is in NO Examples: NO Sunflower Oil Factory (with By-Products)

Performance and Features

Alongside updates and performance improvements, including an upgrade to CPLEX 12.9.0, the version also includes:


  • Parallel iterations for multi-run experiments — for faster computation on powerful systems
  • Proxy with authentication support – for enterprise security

  • Ability to stop running experiments
  • Gamma probability distribution
